Project Feature - Traditional Waterfront Luxury
Project Type: Full Service Design - New Build

Location: Stuart, FL

Project Summary:
This beautiful waterfront home was the blank canvas two artists needed to create their coastal and worldly Florida home. The 5,000 squarefoot home with soarding ceilings and open spaces is designed for entertaining and living well, and while it's on the water, it's not your typical Florida coastal home. There is a sense of depth and age in the home, despite being a new build.

The clients New England roots and treasured antiques set the foundation for the style in this elegant design. Classic traditionalism mixed with Francesca's detailed eye created a harmony of color, wood, tile and texture... and a little bit of glitz.

From the Client:
"Building a house or renovating takes a lot of organizing, not to mention an understanding of how rooms and their design elements flow throughout a space. I had been lost under all of those decisions and trying to pull it all together until we went to Francesca Morgan Interiors. Looking at the home now, I realize how many mistakes I would have made with my initial design choices and I know that going with Francesca actually saved me from being miserable and eventually having to change everything until I finally, if ever, got it right! I spent hundreds of hours looking at lighting fixtures and faucets and tiles and every other detail and I was never sure I had found the right things...the size, the color, the quality, the placement...I wanted to do it right the first time. Once we hired Francesca Morgan Interiors I saved myself the time and stopped stressing and began to enjoy the whole process of creating my dream house. Francesca and her team listened carefully when we shared with them what our tastes, as far as interior design are, how my husband and I, being artists, wanted to organize our workspaces, and how we wanted to entertain and surround ourselves with our large extended family, friends, and pets. Then they went to work putting it all together. From the elegant and soothing wall colors where artwork pops to crystal chandeliers and lighting that is functional and gorgeous, to fun fabrics, unique cabinetry designs with wood finishes that speak to the artist in us, and not to forget the bathroom tiles and sinks and faucets that make our house truly our home. It's beautiful! Everyone at FMI was lovely to work with, professional, kind, and fun. I know too, that they will be there for us for any future design challenges. As far as the expense of having a designer, Francesca always made sure to keep me on budget. I can be a dreamer and she showed me elements that suited the house I was building. Thank you FMI for making this process and the final outcome so very amazing!"
