Job Description

FMI Designs, Inc is a well-established Luxury Interior Design firm located in downtown Stuart, FL.
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for overall coordination and execution of the company’s
marketing strategy. This is including but not limited to, social media, email marketing, event
marketing, blog creation, website updates, content creation and management. This position is part
time for a well-organized and diligent individual who can create and manage digital, event &
fundamental marketing duties, including delegation of tasks and management of growing marketing
team. This role will be instrumental in increasing our social media presence and gaining visibility
for our brand among clients, vendors, and industry influencers.

 

KEY DUTIES

 

  • Takes direction from and reports to Business Manager or Principal Designer (Owner) as
    needed.

  • Delegate tasks to growing marketing team. Responsible for management and coordination of
    all marketing related duties.

  • Assure communications with clients/leads is professional and helpful.

  • Keep up to date and detailed notes on all tasks assigned in Asana.

  • Attend weekly Team Meetings or other meetings as requested by Principal Designer or
    Business Manager.

  • Be knowledgeable of all design services offered by FMI and be able to direct clients to appropriate TeamMember or Principal Designer in accordance with client’s needs and requests.

  • Digital Marketing:

    • Coordinate & Manage all Social Media Content (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn).

    • Assist with streamlining company online presence and social media accounts ensuring uniform content and tone of voice for landing pages, graphics, and other elements
      within the communities. Plan, Coordinate, Create, and Distribute Content. Manage engagement.

    • Coordinate & Manage all E-mail Marketing: 

    • Create content for frequent emails to database, under supervision of Principal
      Designer. Collect emails through the website landing page, blogs, events, etc... & manage
      audience in Flodesk.

    • Make updates as needed to website & marketing accounts such as HouzzPro, Yelp, Google with updated portfolio images, testimonials, etc.

    • Create blog posts & newsletters based on trends and insights all while
      cultivating a unique voice for our brand in the market.

    • Track and report website & social media statistics. 

    • Utilize SEO optimization.

    • Manage lead communication and delegation to sales team.

    • Schedule and coordinate a monthly brainstorming meeting with Principal Designer to establish content ideas for the weeks ahead.

    • Creation of monthly marketing plan for all channels.

    • Create on brand graphics to be used across all channels.

  • Event Marketing:

    • Create, Coordinate, Promote and Manage events. Including but not limited to speaking
      engagements, trunk shows, home tours, tent sales, and in-studio events.

    • Attend events – assist with setup, run event operations, assist with take down/clean up and organize all materials for future use.

    • Coordinate all post event follow ups, relationship building with venue hosts, leads, and digital marketing promoting. Meet with sales team for lead follow ups.

    • Analyze event success and present to principal designer.​

  • Workflow Strategy:

    • Work with executive team on marketing strategy for points of contact during client workflow.

    • Create and distribute print & digital marketing during strategic points of client workflow
      using FMI programs such as Honeybook templates, Flodesk campaign workflows, Post Cards,etc...

    •  Plan and coordinate marketing items for client workflow (post cards, e-mail workflow, project gifts & folders, etc...)

  • Community Outreach & Direct Marketing

  • Assist with other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

​

  • Prior interior design and décor experience, education, or achievements helpful.

  • Must have an efficient level of knowledge and ability to use Microsoft suite of products and
    ability to quickly learn and adapt to using in-house software programs efficiently and
    accurately in accordance with company policy. Directions and training tutorials provided.
    Programs include, but are not limited to Asana, Houzz Pro, HoneyBooks and One Hub
    (server). Marketing specific programs include, but are not limited to Hootsuite, Pinterest,
    Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Flodesk, Canva and Wix/Webflow.

  • Must have SEO knowledge, and experience with SEO Optimization.

  • Must have experience using Social Media platforms with knowledge of marketing practices.

  • Must communicate professionally and have strong command of English language, both
    written and oral.

  • Must communicate professionally with clients, trades, contractors, and other team members.

  • Must possess excellent customer service skills and be able to work independently.

  • Must be able to follow through on multiple tasks with both short- and long-term objectives.

  • Must be able to be punctual and reliable.

  • Must be highly organized, detail oriented, accurate and neat in all job aspects.

  • Must be able to meet deadlines and complete tasks timely.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license, consent to a background check and provide proof of auto
    coverage.

Travel: some travel may be required to local projects/events 

Location: Territory will be flexible, Palm Beaches, Martin, St Lucie and Indian River Counties

Schedule: M-F HOURS

Rate: Hourly

Term: Part- Time with potential for Full- Time

Classification: 1099
